My name is Heidi, and together with my husband John, we have been breeding Yorkshire Terriers in our home for over 13 years. However, my experience with dogs and animal husbandry spans decades. I began with Alaskan Malamutes, raising and training a full sled team of 16 dogs. Over the years, I have bred and raised multiple breeds including Papillons, Pugs, DDR East German Shepherds for cadaver recovery work, and even assisted in search and rescue training with a Bloodhound. My background also includes extensive experience with livestock, horses, and exotic animals.

Today, our focus is on our beloved Yorkies. We began working with Gold Dust bloodlines over 17 years ago and now offer a wide variety of colors, including traditional, ocean pearl, parti-color, gold dust, black, merle, chocolate, and more.

Our Commitment to Health & Responsible Breeding

Health is our highest priority. We DNA test all of our adult dogs for breed-related health conditions and place strong emphasis on nutrition, responsible veterinary care, and long-term wellness. We educate our puppy families on proper feeding, preventative care, and informed health decisions so they feel confident and prepared.

We do not dock tails or remove dewclaws. We believe in preserving each puppy’s natural structure and allowing them to grow and develop as nature intended.
